In the last few months I have big problems with ddos attacks from china botnets.. these are causing big problems for me, my users and our hoster.
I heard of an opportunity to allow only "germany, austria and switzerland" for connections on my server, so they cant attack anymore with those botnets.
I am using a Linux x64 Debian7 server, so i searched for tutorials or something.. I only found scripts, but they were not working for me. Maybe I used it completely wrong. That's why I am asking you. It would be very helpfull for me, if anyone can give me an tutorial or something. I am really new in using iptables and linux servers...
