So basicly I did a migration to a new server, and updated to the latest teamspeak 3 server version. I can connect fine from my home but some people can't connect at all. Tried some basic stuff but i can't figure out what is wrong..

Error he is getting:
Failed to connect to server

What i've tried:
Server is pingable from the user
Client is updated
It is the same port as before so no firewall blocking.

I can't see anything in my server logs about him trying to connect (Can't see when I connect either)
I checked his logfile but there is nothing weird there aswell..

Any ideas?
Regards,

Try to send a ticket to support asking to open the port 9987 on your vps firewall

Try to send a ticket to support asking to open the port 9987 on your vps firewall

if some users can connect the port is probably open

What you can do is if they try to connect via a Domain and you have changed the Domain in the last hours, then check if it resolves to the right IP Address

If it is a A Record then in cmd via
nslookup mydomain.com

this should ouput the domain of your current teamspeak Server
and if it is a SRV Record use
nslookup --type=SRV _ts3._udp.mydomain.com
this should resolve to a other subdomain which you can check like you would do it with the A Record

otherwise just give them the IP Address

They only use the ip adress so there is no DNS issue... Maybe it has something to do with OVH Antiddos-Game as mentioned before?
