Spawning a flying unit with a parachute

    What does it do?
    It allows you to give a parachute to your unit and set its spawn height so you'll start skydiving if you join the mission as this unit.

    How to use?
    Open the unit editor by double clicking your unit in the editor and paste the following into the Initialization section. The 1500 in the setPos command sets the spawn height and can be adjusted.
    Code:
    this addBackpack "B_Parachute";
    this setPos [getPos this select 0, getPos this select 1, 1500];

    I kinda miss developing for Arma, used to have a blast with it.

    I did the script you showed but it doesn't work. The character still spawns with a different load out that i choose and on the ground

    Is there something im missing? It doesnt work for me at all. The unit stays on the ground

    Change "this" with the units name if you don't call it in their initialisation.

    like this the name is in variable name right? Plus they updated everything so is it still the same.
