Switch to the TS3 beta channel

1. Go to settings -> options

2. Click on the stable on Update channel

Thats it. Restart your TeamSpeak and you should get the Update notification.


There is the stable channel and the beta channel.
On the beta channel you will get every new release of a TS client right away. It might be buggy though.
On the stable channel you will only get tested releases of the TS client, so you get new TS versions later.

Sometimes it is useful to to use the beta channel, because a bug was fixxed and you can use it against anyone who did not install that new version (That is only one example)
However, you do send a lot of information to TeamSpeak when using the beta channel. Keep this in mind.

I did this little tutorial because we seem to get asked about this pretty often, so you may just send this thread instead.

If you care about privacy you should instantly revert to stable channel after updating to a new beta version. Otherwise teamspeak will forcefully send stats.
