Same shit like always. But I can agree that number of VAC bans increased in my opinion (atleast public cheats).
Also VACwave affect almost all big cheats.
So yeah, they made improvement, but still cheaters everywhere.
Vacnet uses 3,456 processor cores and 8.1 TB of memory to simultaneously analyze a group of 140 suspected cheater players. Vacnet, like Overwatch users, analyzes match clippings from eight rounds. Suspects are previously marked as cheaters by match participants with a reporting function.
