Just wanted to do a side-by-side comparison of the two devices. Most importantly I wanted to speed test my connection running both of these devices.
The WNR2020 looks nice although if mounted on a wall it looks like a fucking robot with skinny bunny ears.
The CG3000D has an elegant black look without silly bunny ears.
After running speed tests (5 each) on both of these devices, I have found that the CG3000D outperforms the WNR2020. Only by 2Mbps down and 1Mbps up --- nothing seriously concerning.
Unfortunately the CG3000D does not work on Comcast networks. Hence the WNR2020 coming to my bookshelf soon. I am moving and figured I would type up a review. If anyone does testing and finds different results, let me know.
If anyone has multiple modems/routers around the house and would like to do side-by-side reviews on them, I encourage you to!
