hi there,
i have an TS3 Server running on my local machine.
i cant connect to my own Server when i am running hotspot shield vpn. But i can connect to other TS Servers in the internet.
my system: windows 10 pro x64
isp: vodafone cable router/hardware firewall: fritzbox
DynDNS: No-IP.com (activated in the fritz biox)
Software AV/Firewall: ESET InternetSecurity 10
When turing hotspot shield off, i can connect without any problems...
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Cheers

p.s. but my mates can connect to my server with their hotspot shield enabled...

If you are trying to connect on your server with localhost while you have the vpn open then you should know the reason! - Just close the vpn or connect with that ip address!

Great, i´ve forgotten that -.- just dropped the localhost inside and it connects..

Thank you and merry X-MAS :D

But, is there a way to enter my local server from "outside", i mean through the vpn from my machine?

the only way for users to connect on your local servers is only if have the server port open on your firewall

yeah, i know. all my friends can connect to me.

i mean, can i use vpn and connect with spoofed ip to my local ts server from my local machine? so that all others will see only the spoofed vpn ip and country?

currently i see localhost 127.0.0.1 with no country when i click client connection informations in ts

You would need to connect to your external IP when you're using the VPN (like your friends do).
But, may not work.
